the stench of it all….

been fighting back the host.. truth is.. it’s getting through.. can’t say i am happy about it.. read james.. can come from inside my own heart.. not good.. don’t quite understand it all.. but it’s coming and it’s not getting better.. seems like it’s getting louder.. yes… hitting the deck… but have to admit.. this wretched fool of an ass is struggling…

been talking to the Lord about it earlier today.. repenting.. seeking wisdom.. knowledge and insight… still don’t get it all.. can also say does not feel good.. don’t like to let down the Lord.. feel like i should be able to whip the dawg.. but it’s not working.. the other day reading a book by one of my favorite authors.. he’s talking about not giving in.. keeping fighting back.. have to admit.. found some encouragement but then it comes again… “fall into various trials”.. something not planned for.. something that comes and catches you by the tail..

today.. hitting the deck.. heading off to do some teaching.. don’t feel right.. not armored up.. ready.. know what i mean..? well it’s on the way i hear two songs back to back about lazarus.. remember the story of when he died..? in the tomb for 4-days before Jesus shows up on the scene.. mary even reminds him of the stink.. you know.. “the stench of it all”.. (john 11)

4-days without a shower.. you are going to stink.. in the tomb.. those days.. going to have an odor.. but two songs.. back to back.. Lord.. what are you saying.. ? what’s going on here..?

the “It” comes.. (that would be the Holy Spirit)..  He calls out to lazarus.. “come”.. he comes out.. he’s alive.. all is well and “the stench of it all” is gone.. he’s back.. !!!  all embrace him as if he’s coming back from a vacation.. he’s “stink-less”..

it’s then the Lord reminds me of His grace.. His mercy.. His Love for me.. His Love for you….. it’s ok.. i am forgiven.. we are forgiven…  ”white as snow”.. no matter what the situation.. my eye’s are on Him… yes… even during the attacks.. yes.. even when i fall.. He is there.. ready and able to not only forgive me of my trespasses.. but of “the stench of it all”..

am praying that i can see it coming.. not fall quite so easily.. head about things.. eye’s firmly fixed.. ears ready.. heart set.. bone and marrow… on the Lord..

if you are receiving this.. so pray you hear the Fathers love for you.. pray you know that just as i fall.. blow it.. “stink it up”.. when we hit the deck.. humble ourselves before our Lord.. our God.. not only are we forgiven.. He redeems the “stink”..  and “the stench of it all”..

the other day.. when He was speaking.. so cool.. so very our God.. so much my Lord.. hit the cord in my heart that needed healing.. needed a touch from the Master..

pray today.. the cord in your heart is Touched by the Masters Hand.. pray you hear His Love.. His Grace and His Mercy calling out for you…

stay in.. stay close.. hand to the plow…
