anxieties……

i find during these times.. a lot of men are struggling.. some all of the time.. some part of the time.. just last wk i spent the day with a friend touring the county.. we were looking into new business ventures for both of us.. not our typical path.. but transactions that have amazing potential.. during the day.. i had two panic attacks.. can’t tell you why.. but it came.. “twice”.. in talking to my friend later in the wk.. he did not even notice.. can tell you that my stomach was in my throat.. can’t tell you what triggered the jump in my heart.. can tell you the source and it was not from above.. fear.. doubt.. “anxieties”.. all rising within me… want to share a scripture with you…

• psa 94:19  “in the multitude of my anxieties within me… Your comforts delight my soul….

now this is a verse you can hang your hat on.. and ck this out.. this was written before “economic downturns”.. “internet”.. “smart phones”.. “face book”.. or “government bail-outs” and yet the psalmist struggled with the “multitude of his anxieties within him”.. suspect it’s something that man has been fighting since the day of the garden fall….

“Your comforts delight my soul”.. got to love this.. but then you got to know who the “Your” is.. only way you are going to know the “Your” is by the “Yours Word”.. that’s right.. Word of God.. if it’s not in.. can’t come out.. god you know is the god you serve.. think about it…

monday when i was eating my heart.. i stopped and gave it up to my “Your”.. He’s on my throne.. know Him by His Name.. by His Holy Spirit moving in and through me.. could hear Him.. was no “reproach” in Him.. now if you read on….

• psa 94:20-21 “shall the throne of iniquity..  which devises evil by law… have fellowship with You?.. they gather together against the life of the righteous.. and condemn innocent blood..”

now if you were unclear as to the source.. now you know.. now you have a filter.. and yes.. it’s the Word.. cast It into your heart.. if you have a mind for memorization.. kick it in.. why.. “they gather together against the life of the righteous and condemn innocent blood”.. it’s coming.. non-stop hell is out there seeking who they may destroy.. but get this.. our Lord.. He’s not done…

• psa 94:22  “the LORD has been my defense.. and my God the rock of my refuge..”

oh yea.. this is cutting edge kingdom economics.. “Lord has been my defense.. “my” God the rock of my refuge”..  without Him.. without the Holy Spirit.. without the Word of God in our lives.. “our anxieties” are going to eat us alive.. and yes.. some are going to need help to work through these situations.. it’s ok.. it’s all part of the plan.. He is in control.. it’s ok to reach out and seek help..  whatever it takes.. we need to get about it.. set a course.. cut the cords.. get on with it…

i find that most times.. the world is in control of our lives.. we have given so much over to the enemy.. we no longer have boundaries.. we no longer can discern right from wrong.. compromises run so rapid in our lives that it burns deep within our created soul.. the marrow of our bones burn with “anxieties”..  we were all created to worship our King.. instead we find ourselves wrapped up in some of the most delusional situations..  a bad decision is a bad decision.. last wk talked with a man who is suffering from several bad decisions.. he’s in trouble.. his life is about to change.. good news is he gets it.. he has laid down his “anxieties” at the feet of His King.. can’t necessarily see around the corner.. but get this.. does not matter.. his eyes are on the Lord…

don’t know where you stand.. can bet that there are those standing around you who could use a little love.. “God’s Love”.. not my best suit..  still a work in progress… can also tell you that we all need the Word flowing in and through our lives.. the kind of Word that can be measured.. Word that bears fruit.. Kingdom Fruit… not this crap that’s being passed off by the organizations today as fruit.. not the good feeling crap being sold at meetings around the world.. i am talking about good old but Spirit filled Word of God.. convicting fruit that comes from above.. “captives free”.. “cord cutting.. chain breaking.. life changing”… nothing fancy.. just plain old  ”Power” that can only come from the Presence of the Lord.. moving “IN AND THROUGH OUR LIVES”.. not bottled up for that special occasion ceremonial crap.. “IN AND THROUGH”…

Word.. prayer.. fellowship..  key words for any man who desires to be used by God.. if your in.. pray you find this encouraging.. if you’re on the edge.. hope this finds you on your knees.. if you are out.. pray the Holy Spirit is convicting you.. if you are hearing condemnation and your anxieties are turning within you.. it’s not the Lord.. time to hit the deck.. repent and turn the He will…. why.. “for God so loved”..

 stay in.. stay close.. hand to the plow…
